Our Prairie Spirit Home Fundraiser was an evening of Spirit-filled joy! Our Southern Alberta community came together to enjoy a night of delicious food, great service, a bake table like no other, as well as almost 60 items for our silent auction. 

Our thanks are extended to Southminster United Church, who were kind enough to let us use their hall, free of charge. To all the people who donated cash, prizes, silent auction items, baking, time and muscle – and most importantly – prayers, thank you! Our young people were dedicated to ensuring all water jugs were filled, plates cleared away, door prizes delivered and strawberry shortcake served. From 10 years old to 17, these kids worked like little troopers – their efforts are most appreciated!

Our initial financial goal was $5000. Most happily, we can announce a real live total of $7946.20!   This is something that we can all celebrate together! Such a blessing to be able to offer this support to Rev Dinah Chirwa and her husband, Michael, and 4 children. We hope to see them arrive from Zambia in late September!
